Switch Off Project Concludes with Workshop at KPMG

The Switch Off project recently held a successful workshop as part of a seminar organized by our partner, CARDET at KPMG. The focus of the event was on innovative strategies to enhance digital wellbeing and foster a healthy work-life balance. The seminar brought together a diverse group of participants, including managers, team leaders, HR professionals, and remote workers.

A key feature of the workshop was the introduction of the Switch Off Toolkit. This toolkit is specifically designed to help employers and HR professionals implement best practices and policies that support employees in disconnecting from work during non-working hours. It also offers remote workers practical tips for managing digital technologies and reducing work-related stress outside of working hours.

Participants were also introduced to the project’s comprehensive Training Programme, which consists of seven modules. These modules provide valuable insights for managers and HR professionals on creating supportive work environments that respect the right to disconnect. They offer practical guidance on responsible technology use and strategies to promote a healthy work-life balance within teams.

Additionally, the seminar highlighted the project’s upcoming eLearning Platform. This platform is designed to support both managers and employees in improving their digital wellbeing through a range of educational materials and resources aimed at encouraging healthier digital habits.

Attendees were also given the chance to explore the Self-Evaluation Tool, an innovative feature that offers personalized recommendations. This tool helps both remote workers and managers assess their current practices, identifying areas where improvements can be made to support better work-life balance.
