The first training of the Wellbeing Champions was successfully completed on 5 February 2026, within the framework of the European project Thriving Schools, implemented in Cyprus by CARDET and the Institute of Development (IoD). The training was delivered through a combination of in-person and online sessions and involved the participation of 25 teachers from five schools. Educators with vision, sensitivity, and a genuine commitment to contribution took the first decisive step towards creating a shared language, understanding, and practice around wellbeing within the school community. IoD recently joined partners in Paris for the final stages of the Erasmus+ project Ageing Well – Science-Based Habits of People Who Age Well. The two-day event, held on 26–27 November 2025, brought together project partners and stakeholders to review progress, share insights, and celebrate achievements. The first day featured the final Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) at E-Seniors’ headquarters, where partners reviewed results, discussed the final reports, and explored strategies for long-term impact and sustainability. Quality assurance and future exploitation plans were key highlights, ensuring the project’s outputs are ready for wide adoption across Europe. The day concluded with a warm social dinner, fostering informal discussions and collaboration. In its first year, the IntegratESG project has established foundational frameworks, including an ESG competence mapping report and a specialized Roadmap to help VET providers integrate sustainability into business curricula. The project is now launching six comprehensive learning modules and a "one-stop shop" e-learning platform that will feature interactive tools like a scenario simulator and an e-portfolio of case studies. Looking ahead, partners will pilot these resources with vocational educators across Europe and host several multiplier events to ensure the long-term mainstreaming of responsible business practices. Το έργο StayConnected ολοκληρώνει με επιτυχία την διετή του πορεία, αφήνοντας ένα ισχυρό αποτύπωμα στον τρόπο που οι οργανισμοί σε όλη την Ευρώπη προσεγγίζουν την υβριδική εργασία και την ψηφιακή ένταξη. Μετά το ιδιαίτερα επιτυχημένο εθνικό συνέδριο στην Κύπρο, όπου παρουσιάστηκαν τα πιο καινοτόμα εργαλεία και πόροι του έργου, η δυναμική κορυφώθηκε στο διεθνές τελικό συνέδριο στη Σόφια. Εκεί, εταίροι από έξι χώρες μοιράστηκαν εμπειρίες, ευρήματα και καλές πρακτικές, αναδεικνύοντας τον σημαντικό αντίκτυπο που μπορεί να έχει η αποτελεσματική διαχείριση υβριδικών ομάδων στην ευημερία και την παραγωγικότητα των εργαζομένων. The consortium of the MindGuard Project held its Transnational Partner Meeting on 24–25 November 2025, hosted by University College Dublin (UCD) in Ireland. Partners convened both in person at the UCD Village Building and online via Zoom, engaging in two days of structured dialogue and collaborative planning. The programme opened with a welcome session and a guided campus tour, after which discussions turned to core project activities. Under WP1, partners reviewed project management updates, financial compliance, and risk mitigation measures. Work under WP2 continued with an examination of draft sections of the Transnational Research Report, leading to agreement on the steps required for its finalisation. On October 18th, in Paphos, during the National Erasmus+ Award Ceremony, organized by IDEP, and held as part of Erasmus Days, the RESILIENT PRESCHOOLS project was honoured with the Innovative Teaching Award by the European Commission. The Institute of Development (IoD) participated in this initiative within a consortium of six organisations from Cyprus, Greece, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Portugal. With the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute as coordinator, the partnership worked to strengthen psychological resilience and wellbeing in early childhood education. Following the partner meeting in Cyprus, the IntegratESG project has officially transitioned from design to full-scale implementation, focusing on translating ESG concepts into tangible digital learning tools and interactive modules. The project is now finalizing its multilingual Roadmap and developing a central digital hub that will feature scenario-based simulators and e-portfolios to support measurable ESG competence development for VET providers and SMEs. The EU-funded project Optimistic Pathways to Education (OPE) officially launched with a successful Kick-Off Meeting on the 16th-17th of July, bringing together partner organisations from Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Turkey, and Austria.
